History
Originating in New Haven’s Ninth Square district, Square 9 Softworks was founded in 2001 as a division of InfiNet Business Systems. As an Enterprise Content Management solutions provider and software integration house, InfiNet Business Systems delivered document driven solutions to a broad range of organizations while developing custom solutions to a broad range of organizations while developing custom solution extenders for technology providers.
In 2005, a separate product development division was created to focus on the creation of a document capture and workflow solutions designed specifically for the Office Equipment Industry. In early 2006, Square 9 was legally formed as a privately held LLC as a result of the tremendous growth in its GlobalSearch product line. In 2012, Square 9 Softworks was re-organized, this time as a C Corp.
Today, Square 9 has evolved into and industry leading developer of solutions for business process automation throughout the Americas and into Western Europe, Africa and Australia. In addition to its software development division, Square 9 also delivers integrated solutions through the Square 9 Professional Services Group (S9 PSG).
