Springfield Central railway station is the terminus station of the Springfield line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Ipswich suburb of Springfield.

History

Springfield Central station opened on 2 December 2013 as the terminus station of the Springfield line.

The station is situated on a 900-metre viaduct. It includes a car park for 100 vehicles with an additional 400 vehicle spaces on Greenbank Arterial Road which was completed in early 2014. Provision has been made to extend the line.

Services

Springfield Central is served by trains operating to and from Kippa-Ring and Bowen Hills. Some services extend to Petrie, Caboolture and Nambour.
