Spri /ˈspraɪ/ (originally Icebuntu) was a lightweight Ubuntu-based Linux distribution. It used the IceWM window manager and was especially suitable for low-end hardware with limited resources. It was provided as an installable Live CD.

Name
Spri's name is derived from the English word spry - meaning active, nimble and/or energetic.
Features
Spri's main objective was to provide a minimal yet functional operating system. Included programs: a web browser, a file browser, a terminal emulator and a text editor. It replaced the default applications of a standard Ubuntu install with lighter alternatives.
Applications
The default applications in Spri were replaced with other GTK based applications that are lighter and have a smaller install size than those in Ubuntu.
