Spermine synthase (EC 2.5.1.22, spermidine aminopropyltransferase, spermine synthetase) is an enzyme that converts spermidine into spermine. This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

S-adenosylmethioninamine + spermidine ⇌ S-methyl-5'-thioadenosine + spermine
