Career

Kieboom played college baseball at Clemson University. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the fifth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. The Nationals added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.

The Nationals promoted Kieboom to the major leagues on September 27, 2016 after the injury to starting catcher Wilson Ramos. He had one plate appearance in the team's regular season finale and drew a walk, also scoring a run. He was designated for assignment on March 2, 2017.
Personal life

Spencer has two younger brothers: Carter, who is also a prospect in the Nationals organization, and Trevor, who plays baseball at the University of Georgia.
