Plot
A decade after the defeat of Grand Admiral Thrawn, the unstable New Republic is still challenged by the remnants of the Galactic Empire. Leia Organa and Han Solo try to diffuse a growing conspiracy to create chaos and discord among the allied worlds, while Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian stumble upon a strange fleet of pirate ships crewed with clones. All are shocked by the reappearance of Thrawn, very much alive, and Luke joins forces with Mara Jade to investigate the multiplying mysteries.
