Early life

Sowmya Rajendran, born and raised in Chennai, completed her schooling from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School, Chennai and graduated from Stella Maris College with a degree in English. She then pursued a Masters in Gender Studies from the University of Sussex, UK.
