Southsound Radio, now called Wire Radio, is a UK radio station owned and operated by Southsound Media in Bristol. The station plays popular music and 1990s oldies aimed at the 15–25 demographic. Its sister station, named Southsound Gold plays music of the 1960s through 1980s aimed at listeners in the 30+ age range.

Southsound broadcasts around the clock and offers an online service as well.
History
The station was founded in 2005 by Shaun Jones, and originally played a variety of music. In 2009 Jones decided to found a second station, with each playing a different format and selection of music.
The Big Show
On 25–27 August 2012, Southsound did an on-air fundraiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The event raised more than £1,900, which was donated to the building fund of the cancer ward at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
