Southern Maryland Roller Derby (SMRD) is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Waldorf, Maryland. Founded in 2011, the league consists of a single team of women ages 18 and older which competes against teams from other leagues.

SMRD was accepted into the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Apprenticeship Program January 2015.

APR 5 :: Tattoos for Tuition Fundraiser hosted by SMRD and Chronic Ink Tattoo. We were able to raise $1550 for Autism Spectrum Support Group of Southern Maryland and their summer camp program

MAY 3 :: Public Q&A Session held at the Green Turtle in Prince Frederick, MD for people interested in joining SMRD and attending Fresh Meat Boot Camp
