South Fork is a town in Rusk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 120 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of South Fork is located in the town.

Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.8 square miles (92.7 km²), of which 35.4 square miles (91.7 km²) is land and 0.4 square mile (1.0 km²) (1.09%) is water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 120 people, 51 households, and 39 families residing in the town. The population density was 3.4 people per square mile (1.3/km²). There were 91 housing units at an average density of 2.6 per square mile (1.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.17% White and 0.83% Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.83% of the population.
There were 51 households out of which 21.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.6% were married couples living together, 3.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.6% were non-families. 19.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.60.
In the town, the population was spread out with 17.5% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 25.8% from 45 to 64, and 26.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
