Sophie Spence (born February 26, 1987) is a female rugby union player. She represented Ireland at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Spence previously played Netball. She has a degree in Sport and Exercise and a Masters degree in Sport psychology. She was injured in 2013 while playing sevens rugby and required two hand operations.

In October 2015 she was nominated for Worlds Women's Player of the Year award alongside France captain Gaélle Mignot and New Zealand scrum-half Kendra Cocksedge.
