Languages
Siraiki is the major language of the town, although sindhi, is also spoken and understood. Persian (Dari Persian) is the language spoken by the Hazara (Mughal) tribe (of Late General Mosa Khan) which is living in Bulri Shah Karim (Near-Town) and Sarhandis, who lives in village Tando Saindad (also known as Sarhandis Goth), which is on Hyderabad-Tando Muhammad Khan road. Punjabi, Pushto are also spoken in the city area.
