Early life and modelling career
Sonam Bajwa was born in Nanakmatta, Rudrapur Uttarakhand, India. She completed her schooling from Jaycees Public School, Rudrapur. She studied at Delhi University and became an air hostess. In 2012 she contested the Femina Miss India contest.
She acted in two Punjabi films, including Punjab 1984. She was subsequently shortlisted to act opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Happy New Year, but was not chosen for the role.People have confusion that she is the sister of renowned Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa,but this is not true.Sonam has a twin brother.Her best friend is KAJAL JAIN
