Solignac (Occitan: Solenhac) is a commune in the Haute-Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in west-central France.

The village lies on the right bank of the Briance, which flows westward through the commune.

Inhabitants are known as Solignacois.

Jean-Joseph Sanfourche, known as "Sanfourche" (1929-2010), a French painter and poet, lived in Solignac before settling in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat.

Joseph Brousseau, French architect probably born at Solignac around 1733 and died at Sées in the Orne on 5 February 1797.
