Sohail Shaukat Butt (Urdu: سوحیل شوکت بٹ; born 1 April 1983) is a Pakistani politician who is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League (N).

Early life

He was born on 1 April 1983.
Political career

Butt ran in Pakistani general election, 2008 for the PP-157 seat of Provincial Assembly of Punjab however remained unsuccessful and lost the seat to Samina Khalid Ghurki.

He was elected as a member of National Assembly on a ticket of Pakistan Muslim League (N) from NA-130 (Lahore) in Pakistani general election, 2013 by defeating Samina Khalid Ghurki.

In 2013, it was reported that Butt was granted bail in three murder cases.

In 2017, Butt was booked for his alleged involvement in the murder of a politician affiliated with Pakistan Peoples Party.
