The SEEEI is a member of EUREL, the Convention of National Associations of Electrical Engineers of Europe, and an IEEE ComSoc sister society.

The SEEEI's headquarters are located in Ramat Gan, Israel.

The SEEEI operates professional committees, such as the Israel National Committee on Illumination, an SEEEI affiliate, which is a member of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE).

Multiple circles meet regularly to provide a platform for in-depth work on the following technical themes:

  • Maintenance and Safety
  • Power Quality
  • Electro-Optical Engineering
  • Electromagnetic Compatibility
  • Renewable Energy Engineering
  • Communications and Information Technologies
