History
Smartican was founded in January 2013 by Charak Almast, Mani Dev Gyawali, Aastha Almast and Abhishek Puri of Motion Punch Studios as a social game that would test the player’s general knowledge. In the process of developing and testing the game, the founders of Smartican changed the course to launch a social media site. In 2015, Smartican launched its video platform – Smartiwood over which it launched an online reality show Sabki Shruti. In April 2015, the social media platform launched its mobile application.
