Sleepy hollow state park of michigan

Sleepy Hollow State Park is a 2,678-acre (10.84 km2) state park located off US-127 in Ovid Township and Victor Township, near St. Johns and Laingsburg, Michigan. Located at 7835 East Price Road, the park contains many miles of hiking, biking, and horse trails as well as a medium-sized man-made lake known as Lake Ovid. A dam located in the northwest corner of the lake flooded the area which created the relatively shallow body of water. Lake Ovid, covering 410 acres (1.7 km2), was developed by damming the Little Maple River. Several islands of varying size provide sanctuary for a variety of marine bird species including Canada geese, swans, and blue herons.
