Teaching Methods

Skylace educates children using fun and innovative methods, such as using games that encourage movement and other popular games modified to educate the children. Memorisation is also an important aspect of learning Mandarin the Skylace way. After learning words and playing games, students often have to complete worksheets which will test how well they have learned the vocabulary. Students also have to memorise the writing of words and have to write them out the next week.

Skylace also uses Hanyu Pinyin, which helps students to master the pronunciation of words.

Locations

These are the main locations in Malaysia.

  • Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Malaysia
  • Sri Hartamas, Malaysia
  • Icons

The bright blue cotton bag has become somewhat of an icon for Skylace Language Centre, as it is used by students to carry their folders and worksheets to and from lessons. It replaces the former navy blue box-like folders, which had sharp edges and was bulky, proving a faulty design. Many students enjoy the new blue bags.
