Sky Zone Australia is the world's first indoor trampoline park where hundreds of trampolines are connected to form one massive trampoline. Launched in 2004 in Las Vegas Valley by Rick Platt, the original concept was to create a new sport where players soar through the air, bouncing over the trampolines and score points by jumping through hoops. Sky Zone as a sport did not take off as expected but an opportunity arose when local skateboarders wanted to bounce on the courts.
