Biography

Influenced by a mainly punk rock and metal (music) background, Skitsnygg promptly left his small town childhood upbringing in Wellsville (village), New York immediately after his high school graduation. After a short while in Brooklyn Skitsnygg discovered a newfound love for electronic music, it wasn't long before he started DJing underground parties all over New York City.

Skitsnygg made his production debut in 2009 with a Mash-up of The Proxy's "Raven" and Mr. Oizo's "Bruce Willis Is Dead" which reached #1 on The Hype Machine popular charts twice. By 2010 he independently released multiple original tracks as well as remixes. Over time Skitsnygg has developed his own sound and is currently at the forefront of a new Electro subgenre called Grind-House.

To date, Skitsnygg has frequently played shows in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Japan, and South America logging over 150,000 miles in 2012 alone.

Skitsnygg is currently working with DJ/Producer duo Designer Drugs Ultra Records on his debut full length album titled "American Nightmare"
