The International Boarding School was established in 1990. Today there are 144 student, 90% of the students only attend the school for 1 year and use it as a learning experience. The school has students from all over the world, they also have guess teachers from all over the world. They give you a solid education which prepares you for the future. They also give you awareness about the world around you, since they are an international boarding school. They encourage you to take opportunities and help you find them and try to make you a well-rounded person.
Admissions
You have to fill out and send their online application form, which you can find on their website. http://www.skals-efterskole-international.dk/admission/online-application-form/. You also have to send the following forms to the school: Birth Certificate, A photo of yourself, A copy of your school report card from the earlier year, a character reference from your previous/present school. You also have to send an essay about why you'd like to go to their school specifically, your hobbies and interests, what are your plans for an education or occupation after attending the school and your expectations for it, the essay has to be 200-300 words. Then the school will contact you and ask if you could come to the school for a meeting, if you can't do so they don't mind if the meeting is over the phone or a video conference.
