Situation Interactive is a full-service digital marketing agency based in New York City. The company’s wide array of clients span Live Events, Sports, Film & Television, Theatre, Arts & Cultural Institutions and Travel & Tourism. Situation Interactive is also the founding and operating team behind Situation Project, a 501(c)3 aimed at inspiring and expanding students' imaginations through arts and cultural experiences.

History

Situation Interactive was founded in 2001 by Damian Bazadona.

Honors and Awards

Situation Interactive's workplace has been named as one of the "Best Places to Work in New York State" by the New York State Human Resources Society in 2016. Its founder, Damian Bazadona, has been named by Cynopsis Media as the 2016 HR Corporate Visionary of the Year and a finalist for the 2016 Social Good Leader of the Year in television and media. In addition, the agency has been a three-time winner of Crain's New York Business (2010, 2011, 2012) as one of the "Best Places to Work" in New York City.

Situation Interactive was invited to the inaugural South by South Lawn (SXSL) Festival hosted at the White House by President Obama in recognition of their philanthropic efforts with Situation Project, giving public school students access to arts and cultural experiences.

The agency works with a range of clients in entertainment and media including NBCUniversal, Cirque du Soleil and Major League Soccer.

The agency's work was honored with "Best in Show" OMMA Award, "Best in Viral Marketing" OMMA Award, "Best in Interactive Design" LVIMA Award, "Best in Entertainment Social Media" IAC Award and the "Best in Online Advertising & Marketing" Davey Award.

Events

As the host of an ongoing event series, Situation has led discussion around storytelling in advertising in partnership with TED, USA Today, as well as the connection between happiness and consumer experiences.
