In November 2012, SiteScout was chosen by the Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) as one of the top 20 most innovative companies in Canada. In the same month, SiteScout was also selected by The C100 for their 48 Hours in the Valley program

In April 2013, SiteScout was ranked as one of the Top 25 "Up and Coming" ICT firms in Canada based on innovation

In November 2013, SiteScout was chosen as one of the "Companies-to-Watch" winners by Deloitte for their Technology Fast 50 award program.

Corporate milestones

According to TechCrunch, SiteScout had approximately $20 million in revenue in 2012 from over 5000 customers.

In 2013 the company acquired part of the technology and coding used by AdBrite.

On November 4, 2013, SiteScout was acquired for nearly $40 million in cash and stock by Centro.

Expansion into mobile advertising

SiteScout allowed its users to bid on mobile ads from its SSP Partners through its DSP in November 2012 providing access to 30 billion mobile ad views per month.

API release

On 24 July 2013, SiteScout announced the launch of the SiteScout API which allows developers programmatic access to their real-time bidding (RTB) platform.
