Fishing is a major occupation for the people living in Siridao village, and along the beach one can see boats that are used by the local fishing community.
The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport which is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) away. The nearest railway station is Karmali railway station, a 20-minute drive away. There is no bus service to this beach so one must use private transport to travel to the beach.
