Art
She works in collaborative contexts through the mediums of film, etching, digital media and performance. Clancy's work explores societal structures and individual wellbeing in the contexts of health, disability, young people and education. She is a core artist of Helium, an arts and health organization working within Ireland, to give a creative voice to children in hospitals and local communities. Clancy is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Community Education, Equality and Social Activism at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
Activism
Clancy has played a pivotal role in using art and performance as a vehicle to highlight the need for safe and legal abortion in Ireland. Clancy is an active member of Abortion Rights Campaign Ireland (ARC). In 2014, together with Katie Gillum, she made a presentation on behalf of the Abortion Rights campaign on abortion rights in Ireland to the GUE/NGL Grouping Hearings on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, at the European Parliament in Brussels.
