Plot
The story is based on the lives of two sisters, Niharika and Vedika. Vedika is a mentally unstable young woman who has a phobia for the traditional auspicious symbol of sindoor. Vedika's sister, Niharika, agrees to marry a disable man named Antariksh on the condition that Vedika gets married to his elder brother. She gets married to a mentally sound man named Dhruv. The subsequent events in their lives, along with the fortunes of their family members, form the substance of the story and it is a family drama.
