Sinhgad Technical Education Society, also referred to as STES, is a collection of education institutes operating mainly in the region of Pune, India. It provides education in the fields of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Health Science, Computer Applications and Schools.It is the only technical institution using ERP software package for their daily routine work.

STES was founded by Prof. M. N. Navale in 1993 in response to the increasing education criteria in rapidly growing industry after the Open business strategy policy of Indian government.
Sinhgad institutes
History
STES was set up in August 1993 by Prof. M. N. Navale. It began with the formation of Sou. Venutai Chavan Polytechnic Institute in the field of Engineering, offering 3-year full-time Diploma courses in Engineering, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. From then, STES has been continually expanding.
In 1994-95, the Post Graduation MBA course of Pune University was started with just 90 students. And today, there are 3000 students taking benefit of this course in various institutes under STES.
In 1996-97, the Engineering College was established by STES, offering 4-year full-time Degree courses in the fields of Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Civil, Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The college is affiliated to the Pune University. In the same year, a 3-year full-time Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) course was started. 60 students are currently admitted to this course.
In 1998-1999, the Sinhgad Institute of Management started the 2-year full-time Masters in Personnel Management (MPM) and 2-year full-time Masters in Computer Management (MCM) courses, and at present the intake is 60 and 120 students respectively.
In 2000-2001, the Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering was started for girls. It conducts Degree courses in the fields of Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. But from academic year 2006-07, the college was also made open for boys. In the same year mechanical branch is also introduced.
In 2000-2001 year, Sinhgad College of Architecture and Sinhgad College of Pharmacy were started. The College of Architecture conducts a 5-year Degree course (B. Arch) with 40 students and the College of Pharmacy conducts a 4-year Degree course (B. Pharm) with 60 students.
STES also started the Sinhgad Spring Dale School, a Residential Public School and Regular Day School (English Medium) from June 2000, running pre-primary, primary and secondary school. .
In 2001-2002 Sinhgad College Of Science, Vadgaon(Bk) was formed with B.Sc (Computer Science) with intake of 80 students.And continued the Jr. and Sr. College studies by starting Sinhgad College of Arts and Commerce, Narhe Technical Campus in academic year 2003-2004.
In 2003-2004 Sinhgad Law College was formed at Ambegaon(Bk) Campus, Pune with LL.B and BA.LL.B courses.
In 2004-2005 Sinhgad Technical Education Society came up with Sinhgad Institute Of Business Administration & Computer Application at Lonavala Campus, Sinhgad Institute of Management & Computer Application at Narhe Technical Campus, Sinhgad Institute Of Business Administration & Research at Kondhwa Campus, Sinhgad Institute Of Technology at Lonavala Campus, Sinhgad College Of Commerce at Kondhwa Campus, Sinhgad Institute Of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Lonavala Campus, Sinhgad Institute Of Hotel Management and Catering Technology at Lonavala Campus, Sinhgad College of Nursing at Narhe Medical Campus and Sinhgad Public School at Lonavala Campus.
In 2005- 2006 Sinhgad Academy Of Engineering at Kondhwa Campus, Sinhgad Institute Of Pharmacy at Narhe Campus, Smt. Kashibai navale College Of Pharmacy at Kondhwa Campus and Smt. Kashibai Navale College Of Education at Kamlapur Campus were established.
In 2006-2007 Nivrutti Babaji Navale College Of Commerce at Lonavala, Sinhgad Dental College And Hospital at Vadgaon(Bk), SMt. Kashibai Navale College Of Education & Training(B.Ed) at Lonavala was formed and continuously became part of the growth of Sinhgad technical Education Society.
2007-2008 Sinhgad Business School at Erandwane, Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Commerce at Erandwane, Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & General Hospital at Narhe Medical Campus and Sinhgad Spring Dale School Erandwane came into existence.
In 2008-2009, Sinhgad Institute of Technology & Science was started at Narhe Campus. The institute is the fifth from STES offering Degree courses in Engineering. Courses in the fields of Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are offered. But from academic year 2010-11, the Civil Engineering branch was introduced. And in continuous S.K.N Sinhgad School Of Business Management at Vadgaon, Sinhgad Institute Of Business Management at Kamlapur, Sinhgad Public School at Kamlapur, Sinhgad Institute Of Business Management at Chandivali Mumbai, R.M.D. Sinhgad Management School Kondhapuri.
In 2010-2011 was the year when very new campus came up with colleges like R.M.D. Sinhgad School Of Management Studies at Warje, S.K.N. Sinhgad College Of engineering at Pandharpur, Sinhgad Public School(SPS) English Medium at Pandharpur, N.B.N. Sinhgad College Of Engineering at Solapur, Sinhgad Public School at Solapur, and also add ups to existing campuses like N.B.N School Of Management Studies at Ambegaon(Bk) and S.K.N. Sinhgad Institute Of Technology And Science at Lonavala.
In 2011-12 ,RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering was started at Warje Campus under the umbrella of Sinhgad Institutes.The institute is 6th from STES to offer degree programs in Mechanical,Civil,Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology. Also NBN Sinhgad Technical Institutes campus was established in 2011 offering Engineering, MBA & MCA courses.
2015 Smt. Kashibai Navale College Of Architecture was formed to fulfill the architecture course demand by the students.

Sinhgad Technical Education Society has 12 campuses around Pune spread across 500 acres of eco-friendly campus. This 12 campuses have 85 Institutes and 15 Schools all with a motive of educating maximum number of students. STES holds around 7500+ Employees . It also has an ideal environment with lush green surroundings and panoramic views.
These campuses are situated on a delightful hillock of the beautiful Sahyadri ranges,with the quietude form of the right ambience for learning, have clearly proven that such surroundings stimulate the brain and grooms talent.
