Lazenby graduated from Durham University with a degree in Natural Sciences. He began working for Sky Sports in 2002, where he was part of the coverage of live Rugby Union. He worked as part of the team which covered three British and Irish Lions tours.
Lazenby is the lead presenter of Sky Sports Formula One coverage. Working alongside former drivers Martin Brundle and Damon Hill the channel has twice won International Broadcaster of the year since its inception in 2012.
Lazenby has a wife and son, and lives in Notting Hill in North West London. Lazenby plays golf and the piano.
