Signal Festival is a showcase of light art and emerging technologies in Prague, the Czech Republic. It is the largest cultural event in the Czech Republic, bringing modern art and new technology to both, general public and experts. Over the four evenings in October, prominent figures in lighting design from the Czech Republic and abroad will change the streets and public spaces of Prague, both its most famous historical landmarks and less well-known nooks and crannies, into objects d’art and spaces that use unconventional forms to capture the varied sides of contemporary and historical Prague. SIGNAL festival has been included among the top priority cultural events of Prague and the Czech Republic by the capital city of Prague and the Ministry of Culture in 2016.
