Sierra Streets was a software that contained digitized maps of the United States. In many ways, it was the predecessor to such services as MapQuest, Yahoo Maps, and Google Maps. Functionality included the ability to place labels, landmarks, icons, and highlight routes. The user could then save and print an unlimited number of customized maps. The software was distributed on CD-ROM and ran on Microsoft Windows 3.1 and later systems. The CD-ROM was required to use the software.
