Biography
She won the title of Miss Idaho on July 13, 2014, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Sarah Downs. Sandison is a Type 1 diabetic, and wore her insulin pump openly during the Miss Idaho competition. After winning the title of Miss Idaho, Sandison became the focus of extensive media attention, and was featured on The Today Show and Good Morning America.
