History

Sidetrade was created in March 2000 by Olivier Novasque.

In July 2005, Sidetrade went Public company (Euronext: ALBFR.PA) in order to increase its equity and develop its financial capacity.

In 2006, Sidetrade acquired Trésofi consultancy firm, which widened its offer to treasury. In 2011 Sidetrade bought Cashback Avantage Clients, an audit firm specialized in financial institutions and in 2013, the Sage Group's FRP Collect activity. The same year, Sidetrade refocused on its main expertise, predictive Sales-to-Cash solutions, and decided to stop the treasury consulting activity.

Benefitting from 120,000 users in 65 countries, Sidetrade started its international development in 2011 by opening an office in London, then in Dublin in 2013 and finally in Amsterdam in 2015.

On 21 November 2016, Sidetrade announced the final acquisition of BrightTarget Ltd, British start-up specialist in Artificial intelligence solutions for B2B Sales & Marketing. The acquisition is fully in line with Sidetrade's strategy to enhance business performance via the Sales-to-Cash cycle.

On 13 December 2016, Sidetrade adds another brick to its offer: predictive sales automation, with the acquisition of IKO System, a French software company dedicated to predictive solutions to automate sales prospecting. With these convergences, the group Sidetrade becomes the first player offering Artificial intelligence at each stage of the relationship with customers.

Sidetrade's solutions are composed for Finance, Sales and Marketing Departments of B2B companies. The group already counts more than 1,000 customers in several sectors, including Schneider Electric, Nespresso, Loxam, Ink, Talend, Randstad, Geodis, TF1, Manutan, Fenwick, Omega Pharma, Manpower, Safran, Saint-Gobain Abrasifs, Staci, Still, H.Essers, Michael Page, Sage, Primagaz, Univar, Transgourmet, Cemex…

Sidetrade also allows a collaborative work between Sales and Marketing Departments, to reach immediate results: interactivity with sales, responsiveness, prioritization and spread of cash culture.

    Olivier Novasque is a French entrepreneur, born 28 August 1968 in Montpellier. He is the founder and CEO of Sidetrade, a software company specialized in SaaS and the leading global provider of Predictive Sales-to-Cash solutions.

    Education

    Olivier Novasque graduated from the Toulouse Business School (entrepreneurship branch) and obtains an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in 1992. Nurtured by an entrepreneurial spirit, he joined the association "Tech in France" as VP and becomes a member of "Seed4Soft" (Venture Fund specialized in Software & Big data).

    Career

    Olivier Novasque starts its career at Bouygues, in 1992. In 1995 he joins GE Factofrance, a branch of General Electric Capital Finance, where he learns accounts receivables financing and specializes in financing the WCR of digital companies.

    In 2000 he creates Sidetrade in the middle of the Dot-com bubble. He wants to build a unique and innovative offer in finance services, which differs from accounting information systems as ERP applications and Excel sheets, often used in credit management.

    As President of the Board, CEO and majority shareholder, Olivier is the face and voice of the company for its investors. In November 2016, Olivier Novasque drives the acquirement of BrightTarget and IKO System. The goal is to strengthen Sidetrade as key player in the European predictive field.

    Other activities

    Olivier Novasque is Vice President of "Tech in France" and, in a personal capacity, a venture capitalist via Seed4Soft.

    In the third quarter of 2016, Sidetrade Group generated consolidated revenue of €4.5 million, an increase of 14% compared to the third quarter of 2015. Sidetrade Group has posted seven consecutive quarters of double-digit growth. Revenue growth in the first nine months of 2016 stands at + 14%.
