Public service

A Temple trust started a committee to create public service funding for an Annadanum for those over the age of 60, start a local primary and secondary school for local children, provide scholarships if they wished further opportunities and work opportunities for those who chose to remain, and purchase land for farmers. It is a huge task of build the temple and also the maintenance.

It is temple compound with Lord Dattatreya, Lord Venkateshwara and Saibaba of Shirdiinstalled in the premises, situated over a small hill. The Main temple has the idol of Shirdi Saibaba and the other two are situated just beside that. It also hosts a Dhyan Mandir in the name of Satgurus and saints. The Idols of Jalarambappa, Shivnesan Swamiji, Ramreddy Thatha of Kurnool, Anusooya Matha of Paradsinga and Santh Subashbaba of Pippalkot. An audumbar is ideally situated near the Gurusthan, Dhyanmandir with a place for parikrama and good enough to do a parayan under it.

This place is also energized by the Holi Dhuni (Also known as Dhuni Maharaj). People believe that an offering of a coconut in it would keep you off the troubles. The temple however charges some amount for the offering, which inturn is used for the cause of Food Donation Programmes/Annadaan. This place also holds a Goshala, that helps in maintaining the cows.

This place also has a facility for the travellers to stay there and do any Parayan or Volunteering for social/religious causes.

The major Festivals celebrated here are: Dussera, Ramanavmi, DattaJayanthi, Guru Poornima, Kojagara Poornima, Ganesh Chathurthi, etc. There are villagers and people from other villages who gather to do a saptah of Naam japan/ chanting of God's names for a whole week.

There are other temples nearby Kallor that are also pilgrim spots. Basar, Kadhali, Kalwa, etc.

Early years

When Prabhakar maharaj came to the village, it was nothing but a rocky field and a small temple, but he persevered because of the vision of his guru, Sivaneshana Swamiji. Prabhakar Maharaj died on 19 August 2009 of kidney failure but used to perform Annadanum for the village for festivals year round, which were well attended.
