Shree Jain Vidyalaya, Kolkata (Hindi: श्री जैन विद्यालय), often abbreviated SJV, is a school for secondary and senior secondary education located in Burrabazar region of Kolkata. The school is affiliated to the State Boards WBBSE and WBCHSE and around 2900 pupils are educated in it. Not only are the fees reasonable, but also the teaching staff distributes quality education. Discipline and quality makes it one of the best schools in Kolkata. But with the rapid increase of population pressure in Kolkata, the classrooms having accommodating power of 70 pupils are now forcing 80+ students a section. This makes a congested study environment.

Examination
Examination is held intelligently by the school. The school arranges for monthly exams, Saturday exams, Pre-Test exams, Test exams, Revision Tests for every class which makes most students of this school well-prepared for the Final examinations. Also, the paper is set by the school and is made of a good standard.
Laboratories
The school is well equipped with first class Chemistry, Physics, Computer and Biology Laboratories. Chemistry Lab is fully maintained and is regarded as one of the best laboratories in Calcutta. Physics lab is also well set-up but lacks maintenance and efficient use. Computer lab in the school is provided with high-spec machines with properly working accessories but it again lacks efficient use. The laboratoties are well maintained
