Shona Chhabra (IshaChhabra, born 8 April 1992) is an Indian film actress and model. She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Sandalwood movie Sawaal, sharing screen space with noted actor Prajwal Devaraj. She has also appeared in various Hindi serials and worked with noted Tamil and Telugu directors. Chhabra is also a realtor when not working on a film project and during hiatus.

Early life
Chhabra was born to Bharat Bhusann Chhabra and Rekha Chhabra in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She is the eldest of five siblings. She finished her schooling at SD Kanya Intercollege and later moved to Delhi to pursue her modeling career. After several local print and TV ads, she got her first chance to act in a DD1 soap opera. Though they were not very supportive at first, Shona managed to convince her parents after proving herself in the auditions. She continued to pursue her modeling career, taking up ad gigs, print ads and more before landing in the Kannada film industry.
Career
Sandalwood director Dhananjay Balaji first discovered Chhabra when she had come to Bengaluru to visit her friends and family. Director Dhananjay Balaji happened to come across Chhabra while she was auditioning for a Tamil film. Balaji who was impressed with her persona approached her and offered her a role in his movie Savaal. Though Savaal was not well received by the audience in Karnataka, Chhabra managed to grab a role in Black Cobra alongside Duniya Vijay. However, the actress withdrew from the project, as it remained a non-starter because of financial complications of the producer. The actress was nominated at the SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) 2015 in the Best Debutante Actress category. She also attended the event in Dubai, making an impression in a gown designed by a top stylist.
Recently, she was picked for her second Kannada movie (untitled) being directed by well-known film-maker Chikkanna. She is paired opposite Vijay Raghavendra in the movie for which shooting is in progress. The actress was later offered several roles in Telugu and Tamil movies. She is currently working on an untitled film, directed by T.Rajendar. Chhabra is said to be playing two roles in the film, which is a women-oriented film and is awaiting the second schedule of production. Chhabra has also bagged a role in a yet to be titled film in Hindi. The details of the project are still unclear.
