Shohaday-e Kargar High School, located in Afsariyeh, a deprived area in the south of Tehran. The school, which is supported by Amal Community-based Charity organization, is a special school providing education to children whose parents are blue-collar workers. The school boasts an 85-95% university admittance rate and several medals in academic Olympiad events.

About
Shohadaye Karegar Educational Complex, with superior goals and applying new science was established in Tehran, Iran in 1993. According to its formulated plans this school has tried to promote science, research to produce knowledge in their program and it has provided scientific models for students' group work, in the way that the students are capable of sufficient group work activities by the end of course training. All the school programs are finding student talents and interests in education and research and motivate them to gain further education. Therefore "Research and International affairs department" has been formed and from that time on and we have been performing scientific, educational and research programs in international levels.
History of the Research and International Affairs activities
In addition to participating in UNESCO projects, International science exhibitions and conferences, this school has performed many international scientific projects and has had great influences on them. One of our school goals is enrichment students' leisure time with research and vary ultra-curriculum subjects in cooperation with reginal, national and international research center and universities. We always consider the motto of UNESCO in education for our school's plans that are; “Tell me and I forget, Teach me and remember, Involve me and I learn.”
