Shivaune Field (born 11 January, Melbourne, Australia) is a business news reporter and producer.
Field was Co-Chair of the 2016 UN Women USNC LA Media Summit in support of HeForShe, that honored Patricia Arquette and Joss Whedon for their work in gender equality in the media. In 2016 she earned a qualification in Global Business Enterprise from the University of Oxford.
Shivaune Field is an MBA candidate at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management, and President of MBA Women of Pepperdine as well as Regional Director of NAWMBA’s National Leadership Team in 9 states.
Prior to business school Field was a journalist based in Bloomberg Media's Los Angeles bureau where she interviewed thought leaders, C-suite executives and company founders including Elon Musk, Tony Hsieh, Berkshire Hathaway's Charlie Munger, Ford CEO Mark Fields, George Lucas, Jay Leno, LeBron James and Jessica Alba among many others.
Field field-produced a primetime Bloomberg special called 'Women to Watch' featuring YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, Facebook VP Carolyn Everson and COO Sheryl Sandberg, Cisco's CTO Padmasree Warrior and many other high achieving women in the tech sector. Additionally, Field produced live and taped TV interviews with notable leaders including Disney CEO Bob Iger, Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, media personality Ryan Seacrest and musician Will.I.Am.
Field previously managed International Publicity for E! Entertainment Television and has worked with Fortune Magazine. She is a Champion of the Pepperdine Microenterprise Program, mentoring underprivileged Entrepreneurs-in-Training in LA, and is a volunteer wish grantor with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.
She was previously a model and was Miss Australia in 2003. Born in Melbourne, Australia, Field moved to the United States in 2004. Three months after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, she visited Sri Lanka to host a documentary on relief and reconstruction efforts. She volunteered with the American Red Cross and other organizations in Louisiana in 2006 in response to Hurricane Katrina.
Field was married to recording artist Michael Lington for 5 years. She holds a journalism degree and was awarded the Associated Press Television & Radio Association scholarship for excellence in 2007 and graduated from the broadcast journalism program at University of California, Los Angeles.
