The Sheriff of Kincardine was historically a royal official, held at pleasure, who was responsible for enforcing justice in Kincardine, Scotland until 1747. The position became known as the Sheriff of Aberdeen & Kincardine in 1870 and the Sheriff of Aberdeen, Kincardine & Banff in 1882.
