Sharif sharifov aze olympic champion 2012
Sharif Naidhajavovich Sharifov (Azerbaijani: Şərif Şərifov; born November 11, 1988 in Gunukh, Charodinsky District, Dagestan) is a Russian-Azerbaijani male wrestler of Avar descent. Sharifov finished first in the world championship and won bronze in the European championship. In 2012 Summer Olympics Sharif Sharifov won Olympic wrestling gold medal in 84-kilogram freestyle after defeating Puerto Rican Jaime Espinal.
