Shane Luitjens is a graphic designer, photographer, and writer based in New York City.

Writing

His work appears in Revolutionary Voices: A Multicultural Queer Youth Anthology edited by Amy Sonnie, Alyson Press, a Lambda Literary Award finalist, as well as Emanual Xavier's Bullets & Butterflies: queer spoken word poetry, and the magazine Anything That Moves. His published collections include Assaults on the Marathon, Blood for Wings, and Every Ineloquency.

He was a member of the 1997 Seattle Slam Team.

Design

He is also a prolific designer and photographer, including work with GO magazine, Monster.com, Suspect Thoughts Press.

Discography

Appears as guest spokenword poet and co-wrote track "Loving as an Emergency" on the "Black Baby Tears" CD (2009) by Stephen Earley Jordan II.
