The band are frequent guests of St. Andrews Societies and Caledonian Societies globally and are regular guests at Edinburgh's Hogmanay, the largest street party in the world, as well as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The band played at folk singers John McCusker and Kate Rusby's wedding in Huddersfield.

The Band

Shandrix is usually a five piece group consisting of box, fiddle, drums, bass and guitar. Sometimes they can include three more players, as was the case at their 2005 Edinburgh Festival show in the Acoustic Music Centre.
