Shehzad Iqbal (died 22 April 2014) was a Pakistani anchor and journalist. Iqbal was born in Mianwali on 6 February 1951. He was assassinated by 4- Bike man who intercepted fire.

Early life
Iqbal was born on 14 April 1986 in Mianwali. He was a Pakistani journalist from 2006 until his assassination in 2014.
Assassination
A local Samaa TV journalist was shot dead by in the Punjab town of Mianwali reportedly over an ongoing enmity.
Reports said that Shahzad Iqbal and his brother were attacked by four unidentified gunmen who intercepted their bike and opened fire. Shahzad sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on way to the hospital. His brother was injured. Police have started investigations.
District Police Officer (Mianwali) Mujahid Akbar said that Iqbal, 28, had an enmity with Bashir Ahmed and his brothers over a (woman) issue.
Shahzad is the fifth journalist to be killed in Pakistan this year.
