He was born on 1 January 1965.
Political career
Khan ran for the seat of National Assembly from NA-44 (Tribal Area) in Pakistani general election, 2002 but was unsuccessful and secured only 8,465 votes.

He was elected as a member of National Assembly on a ticket of Pakistan Muslim League (N) from NA-44 (Tribal Area) in Pakistani general election, 2013.
