A feared and well equipped private military company named Granite is hired by a client claiming to be the government of a small central African country. They are tasked with the mission to recover an important petroleum refining facility, which has been seized by rebels working in conjunction with foreign mercenaries belonging to the mysterious company Tetsu Yama. However, when the team sent by Granite hits the facility, they are met with unexpectedly powerful opposition and are almost entirely decimated. The remnants of the team ask to be extracted, but instead they receive a message communicating their unit has been "defunded" and all knowledge of their presence denied.
