Sex were a Quebecois hard rock band, formed in 1969 as a trio of Robert Trépanier (lead vocals and bass), Yves Rousseau (guitar and backing vocals) and Serge Gratton (drums). In 1971, the group were joined by Pierre "Pedro" Ouellette on flute. They would release two albums, Sex and The End of My Life (both 1971) before uneventfully disbanding the following year.

In 2002, the Australian label Progressive Line reissued both of Sex's albums on one CD. In 2015, The End of My Life was reissued on vinyl by the European label 111 Records.
