The Sevnica–Trebnje Railway (Slovene: Železniška proga Sevnica–Trebnje) is one of the railway lines that form the Slovenian Railway Network. It is located in Lower Carniola, the traditional region of southeastern Slovenia. Its start station is Sevnica, and its end station is Trebnje. It is 31.2 kilometres (19.4 mi) long and has one electrified track. It is used by both passenger and freight trains.

Course
The line traverses the Sava River and enters the Mirna Valley, where it traverses the Mirna and the Bistrica rivers. It runs through the settlements of Dolenji Boštanj, Tržišče, Pijavice, Slovenska Vas, and Mirna. The largest object of the line is the 158-metre (518 ft) bridge crossing the Sava at Sevnica that was built in 1938.
History
The main reason to build the line was the coal mine in Krmelj. Part of the line from Trebnje up to Krmelj was already built in 1908. Part from Tržišče to Sevnica was built from 1936 until 1938. The mine was abandoned in 1962 and the junction from Tržišče to Krmelj was disassembled in 1996, whereas the line from Sevnica to Trebnje through Tržišče has remained in operation.
