Setsu Ito (born 1964 in Yamaguchi) and Shinobu Ito (born 1966 in Tokyo) are a design team based in Italy. Starting their business in Milan in 1997, they work as consultants for clients in the field of design such as architecture, interior, industrial, manufacturing and packaging design.

In 1998 Saita collection objects became a permanent exhibition at Die Sammlung Neun International Design Museum in Monaco of Bavaria.
In 2001 they won the Good Design Award with the collection of office products How which then became permanent pieces at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
In 2011 awarded with the Compasso d'Oro award for Domo, Biennale dell'artigianato sardo. In the same year they are awarded with the Compasso d'Oro Honourable Mention for the collection Bootamp in collaboration with Il Cantiere.
Setsu Ito
Born in Yamaguchi (Japan), he is a graduate at the University of Tsukuba (Japan). He conducted research on the semantics of the product and the assessment of the project at the Society for Science of Design. He moved to Milan in 1989 and began to work at the firm Alchemy, expanding its training in the same year at the studio of the architect Angelo Mangiarotti. He began his career as a professor at many universities of design and architecture as Domus Academy, Politecnico di Milano, IED, IUAV and the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
In 2014 took part as seminar speaker at IIDEX Canada in Toronto.
Shinobu Ito
Ito graduated at Tama Art University in Tokyo, and received her Masters in Design Direction at the Domus Academy in Milan. From 1988 to 1995, she worked at CBS Sony in design and marketing strategy. In 2007 she worked on one of the main visual designs for the Melbourne Cup.
