Seth Anandram Jaipuria School is a co-educational school in Kanpur, India, founded in 1974. It follows the Anglo-Indian system of education. It has been ranked the Best School in the city by Education World Survey 2016.

History

On the 13 September 1966, the foundation of the school was laid by Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India. The school became operational in January 1974 with class I to VII having a total of 400 boys and girls. It was inaugurated by the President of India Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed on October 26, 1974.

The school's first principal was Pandit Shiv Sharan Sharma (who had previously taught Shri Rajaram Jaipuria.) Mr Joshi was the first officiating Principal of the school. As he was there for a short period, the person who really gave the school its character was the second Principal Mr D Chatterjee. Subsequently Shri P. Arvindakshan was the principal of the school who guided the school. The present principal is Dr. Sundarkumar Gandikota.

Comfest

Comfest is one of the biggest international annual student-organized techno-cultural fests in the country, held at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur. With 55 participating schools and an array of over 30 divergent events, it currently holds the position the "Biggest Student Organised Fest in the country" at school level. All leading schools from across the nation participate in it. The four-day fest includes various events from the literary, technological, gaming, creative, information technology and cryptography field. The most awaited events are Robowars, Junk's the Punk and Graffiti, J-A-M on H-A-M. Every year there's an entertainment evening on Day Zero.
