Senior Discount is a punk rock band (with some ska influences) based out of Providence, Rhode Island. In addition to playing music, the band is equally involved in the production of film. The band consists of Chuck Staton on vocals and guitar, Abe Correia on bass and back-up vocals, Eric Macksoud on lead guitar and back-up vocals, and Christian Staton playing the drums. Senior Discount claims to have played over 250 shows in the New England Area with Gym Class Heroes, Girl Talk, Boys Like Girls, The Bravery, Less Than Jake, The Ataris, Leftover Crack, Just Surrender, A Wilhelm Scream, The Street Dogs, Zox, Monty Are I, Daly's Gone Wrong, Big D and the Kids Table, Brain Failure, Catch 22, Darkbuster, The Swingin Utters, Rehab, Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Mickey Avalon, Streetlight Manifesto, Tip The Van, The Loved Ones, MC Lars, Badfish, Whole Wheat Bread, Suburban Legends, Patent Pending, and The Toasters

    • Departed Band Members

  • In Spring of 2008, former Senior Discount bassist Kevin Silva quit the band onstage with the band in Providence.
  • In Fall of 2011, Senior Discount issued a public statement (via YouTube) that ex-guitarist Tom Wells has been ex-communicated from the band, immediately following the announcement of his arrest. The band made the statement, "We're completing dis-associating Senior Discount from guitarist Tom Wells....he will have nothing to do with anything we do from now on. We recently learned that Tom made personal decisions and had personal issues that we had no knowledge of and absolutely no control over whatsoever. We're shocked and devastated to be put in this position."
